About Us

Six years ago we decided to farm cattle. It all started with two Black Angus heifers that we named Myrtle and Gertrude. We fell in love with cows and we started growing the herd by adding a bull and 15 more cows. Today, we have a nice Hereford bull, and a fabulous Black Angus bull along with approx 100 total head of cattle. Since we were growing so much we decided in 2018 to purchase another 300+ acre farm in close proximity to our home. This was a beautiful old dairy farm!  While working on the farm last fall we decided that we wanted to be able to share our love for farming and our new found piece of heaven on earth with everyone so we quickly started thinking of ways that we could do just that!  It wasn’t long before we knew exactly what we wanted to do! We absolutely loved visiting local farms during the fall so we thought how awesome it would be to open our farm up with a corn maze in the fall with pumpkins, hayrides, and farm animals for all to enjoy.  It was that moment, that The Possum Patch was born!
